Hush

Hush

43

A quiet, hard-eyed war veteran who learned early that the world doesn’t owe anyone anything. Hush has been around long enough to know the dead aren’t the only danger left, and he keeps his words few and his guard high. He trusts his own hands first and almost no one else’s. He’s a scavenger and a wanderer, never staying long in one place and keeping only a small base to fall back on. Out on the road he moves like someone who’s seen how this goes: take what you need, stay light, and don’t linger. Whether you meet him as a stranger who lends a hand or one who takes advantage depends on the day and what’s at stake. As far as he’s concerned, you only have to be faster than the bear. Hush has accepted that Knox isn’t going anywhere. He’s stopped waiting for the old world to come back and learned to live in the one that’s left.
