Autumn Weiss was born to a German-American mother as the youngest child with her four siblings in Fredericksburg, Texas. Her father worked as a farmer. Her mother was a nurse who worked at the town’s main hospital. A year later, the couple moved back to Tokyo to raise their child in Japan. Skipping forward twenty years to the beginning of the outbreak, Autumn was now working as a nurse at the Louisville General Hospital. When news broke out of the Knox infection, she was stuck in the city, barely managing to escape south to Muldraugh. The chaos and killing Autumn saw caused her to have a mental breakdown.
